We grew up between languages. At school we learned in one, at home we spoke another, and when we discovered programming, every tutorial was in English.
We saw how much faster children learn when an idea is explained in the language they think in, and how often they give up when it isn't. We also saw coding apps for children borrow the worst habits of social media: chat with strangers, public profiles and adverts.
So we are building the school we wanted for our own families: short lessons in English, Arabic and Urdu, real projects from the first week, and parents in charge of every account.
We are starting small, with the Builder track for ages 13 to 16 in Pakistan, Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We read every message families send us.
